The Northwind Way emphasizes our vision and looking to play a brand of high quality and fun soccer.

Northwind SC has an attack first mentality. We want to get the ball forward quickly in a controlled manner, creating as many goalscoring opportunities as possible.

Defensively we want to compete for the ball and deny the opposition the opportunity to move forward while trying to win the ball back as a team.

In the transitional phases of the game we look to take advantage of the disorganization of the opponent when winning the ball by creating overloads quickly, and in the defensive transition we want to slow the game down when at a disadvantage and allow reorganization before trying to win the ball back.
